Protection of Personal data

The main duty of the Data Protection Officer of Turto bankas is to facilitate compliance with Regulation (EU)  2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)), and to ensure the functioning of the monitoring system for the protection of personal data processed by Turto bankas in Turto bankas, helping to implement the essential elements of the General Data Protection Regulation, such as the principles of data processing, the rights of data subjects, adapted and standardised data protection, as well as to keep records of data processing activities, to ensure the security of the processing of the data, and to provide notification of breaches of data security.

Individuals (data subjects) may contact the Data Protection Officer of Turto bankas on all issues related to the processing of their personal data and the exercise of their rights under the General Data Protection Regulation.

The Data Protection Officer shall be obliged to ensure the secrecy or confidentiality of his/her tasks in accordance with European Union or Member State law.

The functions of the Data Protection Officer of Turto bankas shall be performed from 1 April 2021 by Sigitas Jablonskis, Senior Associate, Legal Application Group, Legal and Administration Department, Legal Division of Turto bankas (sigitas.jablonskis@turtas.lt, telephone number 8 601 46 558, workplace address: Kęstučio st. 45, Vilnius.).
